Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) and must comply with all applicable laws to use the Service. You may not use the Service if doing so is prohibited where you live (e.g. crypto-restricted jurisdictions).

2. Your account

You sign in via Discord OAuth. You are responsible for keeping your Discord account secure. You may not share your account or use someone else’s. We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or abuses the Service.

Faction membership, Conquest Points (CP), and platform XP have no monetary value, are non-transferable between accounts, and are not redeemable for cash or other tangible benefit.

From time to time we may run promotional season prize pools or events with payouts denominated in $FBG. Any such payout is made at our sole discretion, may be modified or canceled at any time before distribution, and does not make CP or XP redeemable — eligibility for a promotion is not a redemption right and creates no entitlement to future payouts.

3. NFTs and on-chain transactions

The Service interacts with the Avalanche C-Chain. When you sign and submit a transaction (mint, stake, evolve, claim, marketplace list or buy), it is broadcast to the blockchain and cannot be reversed by us, by FortBlockGames, or by any third party. You are responsible for verifying every transaction before signing.

You acknowledge that:

• NFTs minted via the Service are recorded on a public ledger and may be transferred, traded, or copied (visually) outside our control.
• NFT artwork URIs may be updated by us as new artwork is uploaded; the on-chain token ID remains permanent.
• The $FBG token (deployed at 0x9728...4F66 on Avalanche) is an existing community token. Its value is set entirely by market forces and is not guaranteed, supported, or backed by FortBlockGames.
• Gas fees (AVAX) are paid by you, not refundable, and may be consumed even when a transaction reverts on-chain.

4. Marketplace

The Service includes a peer-to-peer marketplace where users may list and purchase platform NFTs for $FBG via the ConquestMarketplace smart contract on the Avalanche C-Chain. Sales are between users; FortBlockGames is not a party to, and does not guarantee, any sale.

• A platform fee (currently 2.5%, shown at listing time) is deducted from the sale price; sellers receive the remainder.
• All marketplace transactions execute on-chain and are final — once confirmed they cannot be reversed, refunded, or canceled by us.
• Prices are set by sellers; we make no representation about the value of any NFT or of $FBG.

5. Quests and verification

Quest rewards (CP, XP, role unlocks) are issued at our discretion after our verification system confirms completion. Verification may be automated (e.g. a Twitter follow check against the X API) or manual (admin review for submission-based quests).

Submitting falsified evidence (fake screenshots, sock-puppet accounts, etc.) is grounds for immediate quest reward revocation, account suspension, and forfeiture of any earned NFTs or CP.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to bypass quest verification or rate limits, automate gameplay, or operate multiple accounts (alt / sybil accounts).
• Probe, scan, or attempt to compromise the Service or its infrastructure without prior written authorization.
• Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm any individual or community.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify any closed-source component.

7. User-submitted games

You may submit games you have created for hosting in the Arcade. By submitting a game, you grant FortBlockGames a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it on the platform. You represent and warrant that you own the submitted content (or hold all rights needed to grant this license) and that it does not infringe any third party’s rights. We may remove any submitted content at our discretion, with or without notice.

8. Intellectual property

The Service’s code, artwork, brand assets, and faction lore are owned by FortBlockGames and protected by intellectual property law. Minting an NFT grants you ownership of the on-chain token but does not transfer any underlying IP rights unless explicitly stated.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free verification, or that on-chain transactions will succeed.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FortBlockGames is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of NFTs, loss of $FBG, or wallet-side errors that we did not cause.

10. Changes to the Service

We may add, modify, or discontinue features, quests, factions, or the entire Service at any time. CP balances, NFT inventories, and battle outcomes may be adjusted to fix bugs or counter abuse.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for any user at any time for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which FortBlockGames is established. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction.
